Kate MacLeod was a mortal and an inhabitant of Glenfinnan and wife of Connor MacLeod.
Biography
After Connor was mortally wounded in battle, his revival was seen by Kate, not as a miracle, but a thing of horror and suspicion. Kate, Dougal MacLeod, and the clan accused Connor of being a devil and Kate, particularly, demanded that Connor be burnt.
Connor's cousin Angus, vetoed the hysterical Kate, and banished Conner instead, never to return to clan lands.
In 1555, a plague hit the Clan MacLeod, killing many of their animals and likely Angus, Dougal and Kate, allowing Father Rainey and Jacob Kell to take over Glenfinnan.
Trivia
- Despite being married to her, Connor never referred to Kate as his first wife, instead referring to Heather. This was likely because he felt betrayed by Kate for casting him aside after he came back to life.
