Kenneth is an Immortal. He was extremely rare as he had his Immortality triggered prior to adolescence, and very few like him survive. Kenneth suffered his First Death at about 11 years of age, and survived for over 800 years.

Early life

He was raised in twelfth century England by a peasant family. In 1182, his village was attacked by Normans and he experienced his First Death.

Amanda discovered him soon after, and taught him The Rules of The Game. In 1183, they were forced to split up when Amanda was arrested and hanged.

From there, he was a vagabond who used the lessons from Amanda for his own ends; interpreting her reference to his innocent looks as a perfect way to ensnare older, stronger Immortals and behead them, thus using his youth as a weapon to eliminate the threat other Immortals posed. This seemed to work well for him through the centuries as he traveled around Europe and eventually to America.

Hunting

Over 800 years, Kenneth developed a strong distrust in others, especially Immortals, fearing they would one day turn on him. He used the sympathy of other Immortals to ensnare and behead them.

In the 1970s, Dallman Ross and his mortal wife, Beth, adopted Kenny, not knowing what he really was. In 1975, when Kenny ambushed Ross in order to take his head, Beth saw what Kenny was about to do, and she saved Ross, but was killed in the process. Kenny got away, and from that point, Ross left his life behind in order to hunt for Kenny.

In 1994, Kenny met Frank Brody, who took him in, became his protector, and acted like a father to him, teaching him how to fish. One day, when he took Kenny fishing, Frank was not paying attention to the boyish Immortal's furtive actions, Kenny took his sword and beheaded Frank from behind.

Meeting MacLeod

That same year in Seacouver, Kenny was found by Duncan MacLeod and Richie Ryan. He went by his usual method, telling them he first died in a car accident three years earlier along with his foster parents. He came close to beheading Richie when he was crouched down with his back to him, but they were interrupted by Duncan. He also tried to cause trouble between Duncan and his mortal girlfriend Anne Lindsey, who Duncan had passed him off to as a second cousin, claiming Duncan had other women.

Dallman Ross found him in Seacouver, so Kenny manipulated Duncan into challenging him. Duncan spared Ross on learning his reasons but, Kenny snuck up on Ross in the aftermath of the fight and beheaded him. However, Joe Dawson revealed Kenny's real nature to Duncan and Richie.

Kenny then tried to kill Anne, stealing a car and attempting to run her over. Duncan saved her and chased after Kenny, who managed to cause some debris to fall on Duncan, pinning him to the ground. Kenny attempted to behead him, but even trapped and with only one arm, Duncan was strong enough to grab his arm and stop him before recovering. At a disadvantage, Kenneth escaped by hiding amongst a bus load of school children.

Defeat

In 1995, Kenneth returned to Seacouver being pursued by Terence Kincaid. He ran into Anne at the hospital where, on seeing his wound healing, she realized he was an Immortal and contacted Duncan.

Duncan took Kenny back to his place, intending for him to leave town as soon as possible, but at his loft, Kenny encountered Amanda, who was delighted to be reunited with him and convinced Duncan to let him stay. Despite his cynical attitude, Kenny remained genuinely fond of Amanda and insisted to Duncan that she would choose him over MacLeod.

After watching Kincaid fail to kill Duncan, Kenny offered him the chance to take MacLeod's head. Kenny used a phone call to lure Duncan and Amanda to a warehouse, where Kincaid was waiting to fight Duncan. Kenny handcuffed Amanda to a railing after turning on a steam valve in Duncan's face, blinding him mid-fight. Amanda was shocked at this reveal of Kenny's true nature. Kenny then kissed her in an intimate manner, revealing himself now as a cold-hearted man in a child's body, before heading down to the battle.

Luckily Duncan managed to recover and kill Kincaid but as Kenny prepared to behead him while he was weakened from the Quickening, Amanda appeared, having easily got out of the handcuffs. She coldly warned Kenny that if he killed Duncan, she would kill him next. Kenny looked at Duncan, shocked that Amanda actually had chosen him, and got a mocking look in return. Kenny then ran off in a rage, never to return again.

His location is unknown to the Watchers, hinting he might be dead.

Weapon

Kenny's weapon of choice was an English short sword. Most standard swords were beyond the strength of his child body to wield well, but the 14th century English short sword fit his hand, had a reasonably short blade and was fairly easy to conceal, but was still weighty enough to deal a mortal blow. He had never been recorded as actually facing another Immortal in a duel with it, but it worked well for his standard modus operandi- ambush.
